Week 15

Now there’s a boring title. Surely with all this self-isolation I could think up something better?

I’m almost embarrassed to admit, but unlike most of the world’s population things are ticking along quite well here. We still have good supplies of toilet paper, I had a nice “zoom meeting” for my brother Mark’s 50th birthday instead of the surprise plane flight, and we have settled in quite well in our lovely new home.

This weeks highlights:

bathroom more-or-less completed
side fence erected
four raised garden beds arrived (next project after plastic house)
work progressing well on plastic house/ poly tunnel/ green house

  1. Glad to hear things are “ticking along”. Things are good with us too. I’m working from home and as Joseph works mainly on his own he is still going out in the field. Looking forward to seeing more home and garden photos from Tassie….take care and lots of love to you all, Helen & Joseph xxx

  2. Happy Easter, Hope you both are well.
Place is coming along nicely, hope that is a composting toilet I could see there!
Good to see you have a few supplies to keep your projects moving.
We are now in our third week of Lock Down and I only had a couple of days to get some supplies before all closed up, these are now running thin, as is the toilet paper with three girls in the house πŸ™‚
I like the beginnings of the Plastic house, I am looking at building one of these, do you have any plans or is it all in your head?

    1. The plastic house is based on our previous Longley one, and another friends in South Australia. I’ll write up a new post once its complete. We may get the plastic over it today if the wind holds off.
